riverclan. windclan. thunderclan. shadowclan. no more do they rule the forest. there was a sickness, a plague. kits, apprentices, warriors, elders, queens, deputies, all died. the leader of riverclan lost her last life. the medicine cat of thunderclan was lost. dregs of the population survived. they fled the forest, away from the corpses of their brethren. they sought haven at the place of the gathering, crying out for starclan's help. but the ancestors had turned away; the sky was black with clouds.
they could not live in what had been their home, so they moved on. almost aimlessly they passed through glades of trees, crossed streams and thunderpaths. they were no longer separated by clan: they had become one clan. allclan. the leaders formed a coalition, the warriors were sent on patrols with former enemies. the deputy of riverclan could not take his place among the leaders, for starclan had not blessed him. thunderclan remained without a medicine cat.
they found a place untouched by the scent of other cats, by the smell of vicious predators, by the sound of two-legs. they made it their home.
